Like any auto shows, you'll be able to see the best cars available in the market and the new cars that will be rolling out or have been in the minds of the manufacturers called the concept cars.

(NAPSI)-With all the safety advances of today's vehicles, it's surprising but true that government officials from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) are worried about the security of today's young passengers. Government studies show that despite crumple zones, air bags and electronic stability control, a wide majority of kids ages 4 to 8 are still riding unsafe. That's because many children in this age range aren't properly restrained.

The Pismo Beach Classic Show is one of the most exciting vintage and street rod shows in Central California. It is held annually at the Downtown Pismo Beach, right by the pier. The show, traditionally held on Father's Day weekend, has been around for 22 years and attracts hundreds of vehicles, from restored 1940's Chevrolet trucks to blinged-out F150's, during its 3-day revelry.

Ever wondered what those tweaked-out Hondas doing the street drag circuits are pretending to be? Word from the wise says it's the Nissan Skyline GT-R, prominently featured in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious as lead star Paul Walker's main ride. Regarded as the undisputed king of Japanese performance vehicles, it is nothing short of iconic.

The NSX (abbreviated from New Sports eXperimental), originally developed by Honda for its luxury line back in the 1990's, made a big dent in the automotive industry with its focus on quality and ease of use, apart from strong engine performance. It was the world's first all-aluminum production car. Continually produced in largely unmodified form until 2005, recent announcements seem to point towards a new Acura NSX to be released in either 2008 or 2009.

The new Dodge Charger is roughly based on the platform provided by the LX (Dodge Magnum and the Chrysler 300). In contrast to the Chargers of the past, this new Charger is a four door sedan model. The appearance of the headlights is a somewhat after market look with their large size surrounded with dark detailing. The front end is rather blunt, with the crosshair grill from the Dodge line leading out.

Greg Boutte' and Glenn Kern, two Northern California racers, have built a member's profile section into the new site, which allow racers to add personal racing information and list their existing sponsors. "We've talked to a lot of racers, and they all agree that they want a place to tell their story. Most don't have the time or resources to build their own site, so we did it for them," says co-creator Glenn Kern.
